I'm a photojournalist and documentary filmmaker with over 15 years of experience covering Latin America, particularly Guatemala, Honduras, and El Salvador, where I lived and worked for Reuters.
My work focuses on social issues, daily life, and breaking news—from protests and elections to natural disasters and cultural traditions. I’ve photographed across Central America, Mexico, Cuba, Venezuela, Colombia, and parts of Africa, and I'm currently available for assignments in the Southeastern U.S. and have ongoing projects in El Salvador and Guatemala. Fluent in Spanish, I bring deep regional knowledge and a strong visual storytelling style to every assignment.

I’m also the Co-Director and Director of Photography of El Metido (The Meddler), a feature-length documentary filmed over five years in Guatemala City.
The film follows German Cabrera, a mechanic by day and self-appointed vigilante crime fighter by night, as he patrols one of Latin America’s most dangerous cities with a video camera and a mission. El Metido won First Prize at Sunny Side of the Doc in La Rochelle, France, and premiered as a headlining selection at the 2020 Melbourne International Film Festival.
